Shortcut Icon Maker app facilitates users in creating custom shortcut icons for apps, resulting in a personalized and aesthetically pleasing device home screen. A wide range of icon sets with over 1,000 icons is available, offering various customization options:

1. Adjust icon size
2. Select icon color
3. Add a border to the icon
4. Customize border size
5. Choose border color
6. Select icon body or background color
7. Position the icon (up, down, left, or right)
8. Create a background color for the home screen to complement the icon's body color, providing a seamless look.

All icons created can be saved in the device photo library and seamlessly integrated with Apple's Shortcut app for further customization.

The Shortcut Icon Maker app is user-friendly and complements iOS14 widget customization features, making it an ideal tool for creating captivating home screen displays on your device.

To create a custom icon:

1. Open the Shortcut app (ensure it is from Apple).
2. Tap on "+".
3. Select "+ Add Action".
4. Choose "Scripting".
5. Select "Open App".
6. Pick the desired app to associate with the shortcut.
7. Tap the round "..." button at the top right corner under "Next".
8. Name your shortcut.
9. Select "Add to Home Screen".
10. In "HOME SCREEN NAME AND ICON", provide the display name under the Icon (note: leaving this field empty creates a clean icon without text).
11. Select the Icon and pick "Choose Photo".
12. Choose the image saved using the Icon Text Maker app for the shortcut Icon.
13. Tap "Add" once an image is selected as the shortcut Icon.
14. A confirmation message confirms completion.

    • You can use the same shortcut with different Icon photo sets, allowing you to add multiple icons to the home screen. However, each distinct photo icon will only open the specified app. This feature is ideal for creating decorative icons for display purposes only.
